The walk from Park Head to Mawgan Porth has one of the most scenic parts of the north Cornwall coast with high cliffs, pinnacles of rocks, around which the waves crash, white and frothy. It is a lovely sight. And every fifty yards or so the vista changes.
It is quite an easy stroll on the way there, and the walk down to Mawgan Porth beach is stunning, the difficulty is when you have to walk back the rise from Mawgan Porth beach to Trenance point is a climb of 270 ft and is quite brutal but there are a few benches along the path to stop for a moment and catch your breath. Don’t let this put you off for an easier walk, park at the National Trust car park at Bedruthan steps and walk to Trenance point and back.
